Got a couple race days on the new car now,
Getting better and the more I drive it the more I like it. Just installed the gear diffs, very impressed with them. Started with 4k f/r for now. Feels good on the bench, but won't know for sure until I can get out to the track for a practice day.
I did find that when I first shimmed the diffs in the case, I thought I had them just right. Had a little backlash and was pretty happy. Got things all back together and had a horrible bind. After a few times of checking different things and pulling things back apart, I had shimmed the ring gear too far and both diffs were hitting/rubbing the case. Lesson learned I guess. Shimmed the diffs a little tighter in the mesh and the bind was gone. So hopefully once things wear in a little bit, things will free up enough to be good to go for a while.
I'll see if I can get a pic or two up for the sway bar mount I fabbed up to use the zx5/6 sway bar and rb6 rear arms. So far the lower arm mount seems to be working well.
