We are running mod 1/12 on outdoor asphalt track. Two of our racer use ex-10 and ex-1. They both have issue with signal if no external battery or booster attached. Rest of us with Sanwa radio run flowlessly with esc's built in booster. Does people notice this problem with KO and any solution beside external booster or battery ?
What servo are they running in their cars? Same as you? Keep in mind that there are some servos out on the market that draw a lot of current. I had this problem before when using a Futaba receiver. Adding a power capacitor directly to the receiver eliminated the 'brown outs'.
