haha, 3d printed arms.....that sounds like it would fail. The 3D materials for the public are no quite there. will be cool when they are. will change this hobby forever.
The guys in the vintage world that build the replica 91 prototype stealth are using 3d printed parts. and no issues, even custom B2/3 cars with 3d printed parts from shapeways. (steering, c hubs, arms, rear arm mounts bulkheads) and hold up well. for racing cars they use a different print thats a bit stronger and more money.
