In looking at the
setup sheets on Associated's site, there is a variance between 1 and 2 limiters in the shocks, yet the stroke/shaft length is almost always 20.5 front and 25.6mm rear in all the setups. If the stroke length is the same no matter if I have 1 or 2 limiters, then is there an advantage to having more or less limiters inside the shock?
The only difference is adjustability and uptravel. With more limiters, the piston goes closer to the cap. Given that the spring retainer limits the shaft from going close to the cap, it's basically a non issue on our platform.
