I got a used X12 2014, and I have a few questions about it...
I's a very nice car, but a little heavy ( I was at 762g). So I switched to alloy screws and saved 12g.
The motor that came with it is Team Icon 17.5t motor (never heard of this before...). I'll switch to an Orca RX3 which is at least 10g lighter.
I wanted a spare rear axle, so I ordered a graphite (V3) axle. Can anybody tell me what the weight difference is between the graphite and the steel axle??
Also, the 2015 version has some shims to adjust the camber gain (called upper arm position adjustment shims). Is it worth using some of these shims on the 2014 version to make the car a littleless twtchy? Actually, I was thinking of pretty much using the 2015 box setup on my 2014 (minus the shock position of course). What do you thinkof this? (med traction carpet track)
Thank you!
