I have a '14 XB4 and I love it. It is completely dialed and I have 100% confidence in it. However, I was looking at the 2wd buggy and I've had a couple of Xray drivers say it's really designed for astroturf, carpet, high grip tracks and wouldn't do well at the track where I race (hard pack moist clay). So my question(s) are, if the 2wd and 4wd share so many of the same parts and seem to be built the same, why wouldn't the 2wd do just as well? The next question is if the 2wd will not do well, what about it makes such a huge difference? I really like that the platforms are so compatible but I don't want a 2wd that is not gong to be competitive.
