Shorter turnbuckles are an oddity. I was thinking of grabbing a BD7 (Lunsford) kit to use, the equivalent are all slightly shorter than typical Tamiya as well.
What screws have you used - your button heads all have a little lip?

I use the Roche Cups and Roche HD Double Joint since I drive the TRF V5. The Tamiya Cups and Double Joint where not very stable, as an experience I made.
Little Lip? The screwas are from square Alu Titan and some Arrowmax Titan Screws the darker ones.

No
