For flat one piece bodies I prefer seeing early nineties F1 designs. Unfortunately these are hard to get. Only Tamiya still makes High quality ones, but often without good sticker sets...
I dunno, it's not pretty (most f1 cars aren't) but ugly is a bit harsh. I mean, you guys did watch the last season of F1 with the cars equiped with penises
I almost had to look away whenever they showed the cars coming towards the camera.
