i don't know. i don't really follow what others do. the insert system i used is the same one from the D812 and D8T. i figure if it can withstand 1/8 abuse it should be adequate for this car.
I was just curious. I am glad you removed the metal to metal contact though. One nice thing about your design is, it like like the insert "snap" in. The floating balls tend to fall off and I chase them around the floor, lol.
