With the new foams (Green, Blue, DBL Blue, Red and Orange) we are finding that saucing the tires less than 20-30min. is not long enough. With the rears you need to sauce 20-30min. because the foam takes longer for the sauce to get all the way in the tire. For the fronts, sauce like normal because these are more aggressive they do not need the sauce to soak in as much as the rear.

Also I get ask a lot about durometer numbers, throw those out the window. Those only matter for the company mounting the foam. They use that to control inventory and to see what stage the foam is in. We as racers need to know what tire to go to for a given situation. This takes testing. Depending on where you are on the traction curve, depends on what tire you need. Play with different compounds and see what works for you.

Hope this helps.
