You are correct you can only get so much traction from the tires but what the car does with that traction is what's important. At least in the non-mod class the awesomatix is a game changer. If you gave the top 10 drivers in Europe and Asia an Awesomatix for 2 months to figure out a setup for there driving style i can almost guarantee, with 99% accuracy, they would go faster by more than 1 sec in a 5 min race.
B and C main drivers will go faster by 2-4 sec per race. I've seen and lived it myself in the US since this car has been introduced. Say what you want but you won't know until you try one.

In fact, that would be a great idea because it will force companies to make new designs. Might even spark a movement to rethink the design constraints imposed by ROAR.
