I have started up in TC "the hard way" in modified. The guys racing stock (13.5T) are scratching their behinds, taking a drink, maybe eating a little, on the strait. I would for sure rule out the 21.5T, and maybe thinking that even the 17.5T is too slow. Maybe a 13.5T is a good starting point if you want some speed to develop your skills with.
417v5 or 418. I have both. Even for skilled drivers the 417v5 is good. If you are not a skilled driver, I would believe it doesn't matter much, the potential in both chassis are on a much higher level than you anyway.
