I still think motors can be just the luck of the draw and brand doesn't matter. Yes you can play with rotors etc. but I have a used old Thinder Power that I started with was $50. I've consistently set fast lap with it every week on a track that changes weekly. Always looking for more, I've tried a D3.5 (was slower). A speed passion (also slower). Last week I tried the new D4 but came new with a bad sensor board. All fixed now so we'll see what comes this week. But I'll carry the old TP that smells like it's burning up even tho it's only 150* to throw back in if needed.
