I was looking for the body set 84311, Accord Aero. I bought one of the last HPI 7037 bodyset a while back, and I also had a PIAA Accord FF01 at that time (NIB) and was taken back at how much more detailed the Tamiya body was. I sold the NIB FF01 to get my money back (broke even for what I paid for), and have been looking for a good Tamiya version ever since.
The HPI 7037, I painted up and using it on my TA05v2, but it's getting really beat up...
I've searched far and wide, the PIAA body set is 100 bucks plus shipping, the Aero is 29.95 plus 20 bucks shipping from Hong Kong, so what I ended up doing was I bought a FF03 Accord Aero kit, with an extra Aero on the side, set of bearings for the FF03 for about 213 bucks shipped from eBay...
So I've been looking at CF chassis just to prep it in case I really get into it, seems like there are the pro and evo route, or 3Racing frp/wo route, or the crazy cool FF11 route...
My immediate problem is choosing which radio/esc/motor combo I need to rip out of my fleet...
