i tried many many variations in settings but i find my motor temps is too high after 5 minutes.
the track is a medium sized asphalt with high ambient temps in 38 celcius. I will be instlaling a more powerful fan for my motor to see if it makes a difference. Any suggestions would be great as i want to race at this track on the 17th.
Try turn down the motor timing and try the setting below

if the temp. is still too high then keep lower the motor timing.
