NB: My bad - in my original post I used the 417's internal ratio of 1.947. The 418 has an internal ratio of 1.85. Correct values below. Sorry.

You can use any gear ratio calculator, from gearchart.com to a spreadsheet, to help work out what you need. In 48P, a 63 spur and 37 pinion will get you very close.

I'm guessing it's quite a large, flowing track?
