Is it possible to run a spur an pinion to give this in 64 or 48dp? If so any ideas what I will need to get. Just started building it and worried about ordering something that will not fit.
Any help greatly appreciated.
NB: My bad - in my original post I used the 417's internal ratio of 1.947. The 418 has an internal ratio of 1.85. Correct values below. Sorry.
You can use any gear ratio calculator, from gearchart.com to a spreadsheet, to help work out what you need. In 48P, a 63 spur and 37 pinion will get you very close.
I'm guessing it's quite a large, flowing track?
