OK guys, I just picked up this buggy and it's my first venture into 8th scale and I had a couple questions.
Is everybody shimming the rear diff by the manual or by feel? I'm sure it will be close out of the box but I wanted some opinions from experienced guys.
I'm going to stick with the stock 43T spur for now. Will 14T pinion be a good starting point with a 1900kv motor?
Finally, I am looking into using the SMC 4600mah 4s shorty packs. Will the balance be alright with a standard motor and the short battery or should I go for the full size packs? Planning to run mainly on indoor clay tracks.
