The black belt kit comes with a longer idler pulley arm which allows the belt to make a more gradual "S" turn from the spur gear to the idler pulley wheel. This frees up the drivetrain significantly and improves acceleration.
It is a fairly extensive R&R project; so, you might wait until your first servicing of the diffs to do it.
