dang it ..its sold already... i wanted it

well i have raced mine a week on 80K oil in the center, and its been good...yes it does roast the front tires a little faster on norcals indoor dirt/clay track...but thats why we can modulate the throttle with our index fingers isnt it ?

two of my primary problems with 100K oil was stoppies (rear lifting) norcal traction at the end of the straight can be somewhat unpredictable, 1 foot left or right and you have little bite, in the race line and theres a ton of bite...on top of that its has startet to get real bumpy in the race line...so thats a trouble spot for me...anti lock breaking helped (thx alderboy) but didnt cure....80K helped too..so now i can stop fairly fast and usually catch the rear if its lifting

it now only wheelies when accelerating on landing and the front gets slapped..and thats my problem not the car

overall the buggy is now a bit smoother to drive which is my driving style...last Wednesday i was up against Mondrell...fast fellow he is...he is running a b44.2 known for driving hard and fast and to take risks...it payed off his lap times was stunning...but it in the end too many bobbles cost him the victory....which instead went to me and my D413

i start second...black and orange buggy (which looks like red on my monitor), he drives white and blue....enjoy

i dont get what people have against the shocks on this one, they are among the smoothest i have felt...my b4.2, t4.2(bought used shocks not build by me), sc10.2(used...not build by me), my other b4.2 (used ...) every single one of them the shocks have been bleeding !...i wonder if thats why the shocks for the b5 which looks almost identical now carries the "version 2" on them....my losi shocks have been good too, but the d413 shocks are a winner in my book...no bleeding, i had one shock where the cap was not 100% tight and it was a little wet around it, tiightened it up and all is good....the caps have not popped off or cracked yet on my model...but i have never pulled the ballstud out of the ball after it was seated during the build....i did have a ball stud that keeps backing out of the front hub carrier, i have CA glued it while i wait for parts

i just build a B5M, and up until that the D413 was my favorite build of all time...but the b5m wow so easy..2 screwdrivers is all you need...i wonder if AE's ballstuds are same size as HB ?
