That's not the ideal placement for a fan. The body is so close there that it doesn't pull all the fresh air it could if it had more open area behind it. I had it just like that on my 410 and it helped but someone told me I should move it away from the body for more efficient cooling and then I noticed a bigger difference. You might want to move your transponder up a bit and place the fan blowing onto the motor's end bell at an angle and the air will sweep towards the back of the body to cool more efficiently. Additionally you might want to go with a 30mm fan. That looks like a 25mm.

Shoe goo is good but you can also use the clear double sided servo tape and heat it up a bit to activate super sticky mode and it will hold the fan perfectly. Any high quality servo tape will hold it really because the fans weigh next to nothing.
