I always run front aluminum spool and rear aluminum ball diff(sometimes with ceramic balls), no shields in the drivetrain Bearings, except the wheel Bearings(teflon sealed only), and CF driveshaft at all times........ I call my Car the tc4.1 with all these upgrades........ I was going as fast as the belt cars down the straight with 55t/40t(no motor heat) , so now I'll try 55t/43t just to see what that will do... I got to push it hard at this point.... Others gear their belt cars from 3.8fdr to 4.2fdr, and are very hot at the End of a six minute run.....

With a front spool the torque was easily noticed and pull out of the turns is awesome. If you are still using a front ball diff I think that the advantage of shaft drive is diminished, which I noticed when I went back to the diff after blowing up a set of steel universals on the spool. If you can get a front diff in the thing with 100K weight in it that it would be pretty sweet.
