so my Speed Mind wheels arrived today, the black wheels (GT-308B) feel a little more firm than the stock RIDE wheels, however the yellow wheels (GT-504Y) feel softer than the stock RIDE wheels.
Quick follow-up... I've been extremely happy with the performance of these Speed Mind wheels with Sweep Aqua Medium foam inserts for outdoor asphalt racing:

I recently raced indoor carpet with these foams and I didn't run nearly as well as I hoped I would do, I probably would've been better off with these carpet specific foams instead:

I believe that selecting a soft wheel and foam insert that is specific to your racing application will yield the best results.
***Note that the national rules require you to use the stock foams that come with the tires, but many local tracks don't observe 100% of the USGT rules so double check your area on what rules they are following if you want to have the most competitive car on the track
