I'll give you the less harsh (vs. the how dare you!!) answer- if you really want to run it... see what your local club and the racers involved have to say. Where I'm at we have a few of the shells like the corvette's out there running. I doubt anyone would care if a vaterra was out there as well. Of course, if it's an official USVTA race, just don't bring it. Hope that helps.
