I had been resistant to say anything yet, but I actually put my gullwing arms and tower back on the vehicle (again, rear end is dialed in) and the car was still as good, possibly better. I'd suggest leaving your battery still as far back as possible and improve the steering via another method. Try front dirt web tires if you have not. They are more aggressive.
I have dirt webs and they didnt help at all! In fact they made it worse, the best tire i have found for precise and consistent steering is MC Ions.
