Just a bit of an update from Australia. I have been driving a sample E car for about the last 5 weeks now and I can say I'm very impressed. It came standard with a 150 amp speed control and 2100Kv motor.
Our track is an old 1/8th scale nitro track but now we can only use E cars because of the noise complaints due to the impeding suburbs.
The Hong Nor power grip belted slicks with sweep pink inner foams and mounted on the on road rims from Hong Nor work the best. I usually get about 8 full 6 minute races with a set of these tyres and have tried nearly every other brand and they either don't work well or just simply over heat and go off.
This is a really good offering from Hong Nor and seems well built and rugged enough for long stints between maintenance.
The first night race ever at our track on Saturday night and Im off to check the setup.
