Mainly in Aus the foam tyres we run are much smaller overall diameter than the rubber tyres, and what make things worse, as they wear down in size the car really looses top speed. It would really give us foam tyre running racers the ability to not have to give the engine a rest at half straight as it feels like it is stuck in first gear. It would also then give us the option to play with spur gears to fine tune gear ratios.

Also what life do you guys give for the one way in the 2 speed transmission. My GT car has run approx 2.5 hours and was just curios to know what life you guys are getting out of the one way.
Great thread guys it really has helped allot

Unfortunately odds are thats not going to happen and thats simply because it would only be your market that would use them, those pinions do not work well with the helical R+P. My suggestion would be to go the other way and install the Straight cut R+P and go with the 46/43 spur gears. What is the diameter of the foam tires, i can figure out the roll out or just use this formula: I have found that a second gear roll out around 1.51 is really good

The old standard oneway bearing is not very good, the new kits come with an extra HD unit and i sell them as well. I went through the entire season last year with one bearing, I have found that kyosho ball dif grease works the best.
