The fact is the motors are set at the factory so they apply the sticker to reflect the actual 30* mark. In the end the only reason there is a timing limit was to protect the ss and club motors. Other than that there is no reason to regulate the timing.
Fair enough. I'll worry about it at a big race... for my club racing needs, it will be ignored. Locally speaking, the conclusion is that it's there, and that's about it. Adjust as needed and race.
