The SCCA changed the rules for the Trans-Am Series in about 73 - the McAllister IROC Body would be closer to a 75-76 style, probably actually closer to the 78/79 body w/o the big Aluminum front bumper.
IMHO they should be allowed to be used in the USVTA - but, if you went by body year that would then open up the Porche, Corvette and a few other bodies...
I do some detail decals for the McAllister body anyway, and they are legal in the West Coast's "OUTLAW Trans Am" and a few other clubs trans am racing around the country.
