We've been running the car without the shim while using the stock suspension holders. You'll have to file down the RR holder a little bit so it doesn't extend below the chassis. This really seemed to lock in the rear without giving up too much steering. If you're eager for more steering after this, push out the shocks on the rear shock tower.
Do you adjust for droop when making either of these changes( lowering the inner hinge pin or standing up the shock on tower)? I know forsure standing up the shock on tower will increase droop and i assume lowering the arms will lessen droop. Haven't done the hinge block mod yet but i hope they cancel each other out, and get you back to my original droop settings(1mm limiter in each shock).
I have been running on indoor clay with medium bite, tightand a bit bumpy and the car on power wants to wash out. Have tried raising the inner rear camber link as well as running it in the longest position with 5f/3r diff oils and kit setup for clay everything else. Any ideas?
More or less limiters in shocks?
wheelbase?
or do i just bust out my dremel and mod the rear hinge pin holders and chassis?
springs?
car seems to stiff overall.
