What is your budget?
Many folks like the LRP, Hobbywing, Speed Passion and Tekin ESCs. I've heard some good things about ORCA but not too sure about support in the U.S.
Reedy has something promising due to come out soon too.
Motor wise... Trinity Killshot, Reedy, Schuur speed, Powers Plutonium, and Thunderpower are pretty popular.

Any of these are considered "A Main" level products.
It's mostly up to car setup and Driving.
