Word has pretty much rolled down from the top that 3 port motors will no longer be produced unless there is a order for like 20 of them at a time. No one would have thought they would pull the plug on this motor when everyone agreed to the three port engines. So even if rules had been put in place it wouldn't have changed novarossis mind on production schedules. They just aren't selling enough of them to bother with them. Now the 5 port motors look to be the option.
