Hmm I haven't tried it at the track, but comparing the arms themselves the Harderned arms feel stiffer, they have this "dirty plastic" look too... same texture/colour as the -2 degree rear toe-in hubs...

Also according to the tag, i think it mentioned it is graphite re-inforced... I'm not going to test it by clipping it against the straight thought

Sorry, i have no clue how to gear that 540 motor. Since it has a good deal of torque and not much RPM, put in the smallest spur and biggest pinion you can find.
Would love to hear how to gear this motor 2, I have 3 of them from various tamiya kits (Johnson motors btw).
