It's been a while, did some testing last Sunday in preparation for the 2014 season. Some interesting findings (for my track and electronics).
* Springs made no difference in lap times, but the feel was different. Softest springs felt sluggish. Hardest (around 22 pounds, tamiya gas car springs) made the car feel very good and fast in the chicanes. But lap times... same.
* Heavy battery made the car feel more planted and easier to keep on the line. Lap times same as light batteries.
* Tire combo the biggest gain. I started with a set that ran 23 seconds and found a set in the 20+ seconds.
Time to play with the diff, shock angle, width, camber etc.
