Since the stock 380 motor is said to be a bit weak, have you guys upgraded to any aftermarket motors?
You can get box-damaged cars on eBay for as low as $100 and brand new for $120-$130.
The stock motor is not a 380. It's a 280-370 and I don't think any 380s will fit without modding. However, I haven't heard anyone saying the motor is underpowered, regardless. These are extremely fast and nearly uncontrollable on 3S. If you really want more power, you'll probably need other upgrades as well like in the drivetrain and this might not be the best platform for you.
