17.5t blinky stock on med grip carpet is fine, in fact i feel the whole RS ver of the car was designed for 17.5t in mind, however be prepared to swap the front spool out if you crash as it is VERY brittle.
overall im very happy with the car but has been an ongoing experiment of sorts to see what alloy parts are required to make it capable of running in boosted classes.
so far i have changed out the wheel hex's, spool, pullies, shock springs, spur gear to a 96t.
