While we're here - Any thoughts why there seem to be different lengths of front upright for the M05? There are the standard ones that originally came out around the same time as the 03R and have carried through, then there are the stubbier looking ones, like those made by 3Racing. Just wondering.

Not sure for Tamiya's reasoning for not allowing gluing the sidewalls but makes it so much harder to tune out traction rolling. It could be just to even the field. I have heard stories from past worlds that racers saucing the insides of their tires before building them because of the no saucing rule. Tamiya put a stop to that as you have to build your tires at tech.

As for the rally uprights, I haven't tried them.
