I'm trying ceramic diff balls right now (also from RC4less) and are really liking them. Super smooth and a long time between rebuilds. I've heard rumors that ceramic balls shorten the life of the rings, but I haven't seen any of that yet. The cost is quite a bit more expensive than normal steel balls, so you have to decide if the extra cost is worth it to you.

If you're having troubles tightening up the pivot ball to it's socket using the 2-56 screws you can sand a little material off of the bottom socket where it touches the top one. Be careful not to remove too much or the pivot ball will bind.
