It's entirely up to you, but I've got 6 Durangos and the only one I run the Lunsford kit on are the 4x4 Short course. All of the others run stock ball studs, turnbuckles and ball cups. Like others have said, once you build the truck/buggy and snap them on for the first time, you should only use the hole in the top of the ball cup for the allen driver and take out the ballstud connected to the cup when you need to remove them. I've never had any of them pop off.
