I was trying to get mine as clean as your but, was too impatient. I will revise mine and put my ESC closer to the motor and push the battery forward. I used gauge 12 wire, but will replace it with 14 and a Hobbywing Just Stock ESC.
Lastly, I also need to paint a decent shell for my car.
