If not lubricated properly the tend to push through the plastic retainer. That's why we use homemade aluminum sleeves but you can get commercial ones.

The only time my XB4 has clicked is when the cvd pin in the front centre drive shaft popped throught the plastic retaining collar, it's worth checking all the cvd joints on the buggy
Thanks guys. The pins havent pushed through but on closer inspection a few teeth of the bevel gear seem to be sheered off. Just ordered a new set so hopefully thats what was making that sound.
