This is my first build in 20+ years and have no experience in F1.

I am just wondering which set up would be better for indoor asphalt, medium to high temperature (Philippine tropical climate)... Battery forward or battery back?

I already know the answer is to try both set ups and see for myself... But I also don't really want to have to re-wire (re-solder) connections as much as possible.

Even though it isn't as "clean" looking; Mounting the speedo on the side like your receiver will give you the option to move the battery forward, back, and mid for easy change setup options based on the track conditions.
