I use one that is for 1:1 car "bumper protection film" . Flexy and I cant feel any issues with the handling.Some rc protection films, (like associated film) are really thick and hard, that could affect the flex some, but idk.
The rear pod and the front chassis edge will still wear some.
However... -I will not use another when this wears out, the scratches wont affect anything and the film does change the ride height some.
