BTW, we run foams here in Australia, but I think our surface is like nothing else around the world and rubbers just don't cut it. And no, generally 30mm won't fit.
In the UK we tend to run either Sorex 28JB's (pre built with Blue carpet insert) or 32JB's on carpet (depending on club or race series), and the tyres for our national series are the Sorex 32RY, same wheel and tyres but with a medium yellow asphalt insert.
FOr the temps you'd get in Oz, probably need a 36RY or even 40
