I must be missing something here, because if the photo which is on the part description is accurate it shouldnt fit the 417 4-pin design, normally the 6 hole centre spur gears won't fit without modifying them.
Watch the video; the picture seems to show the older version. The gear in the video has many holes to fit 'just about any touring car chassis' and it is shown with the Tamiya 4-pole gear adapter in place.
