I also have a 12L4 that I run at St-Roch with the same tire combo you mentioned, never had a problem with traction roll, in fact the car handles pretty well. Although most of the guys here, if not all besides me, run double pink (F) and pink (R), I think purple and grey are the best combo.
Try Associated green slime on the pod disk, green sping on the center shock, .22 springs in the front kingpins without lube. (I use modified Ti kingpings that are a little smoother).
I use the CRC lower rear pods. they fit like a glove in that car.
3mm ride height, and my tires are about 1.75 rear and about 1.68 fronts. The car handles really well. You have to use a 96 spur gear if you want to ride really low profile tires.
