Yes they are 5mm aluminum I have yet to break or bend one and I run my truck pretty hard. This is a great hop-up for people looking to cut some weight from the truck with out spending a ton of $$$ on Ti parts. The stock steel turnbuckles are plenty strong I was just looking to save a few #'s.
