you need to use their topshaft. On the upside, its alum and not steel. So less rotating mass for 17.5. Personally, I thought the K slipper worked great in its stock form. I dont know what the losi spur and pad feel like, bit I didnt notice any fading with a 10.5 on a medium bite indoor track when i was practicing. But yeah, its much nicer to be able to replace spurs locally. It would be pretty cheap to try the TLR setup and finding spurs would be easy.
