The Sakura is really limited in its out of the box use to drifting only, the back wheels are over driven, so complete 2 revolutions for every 1 of the front. Which makes it just about impossible to do anything else with.

Dont get the D3 unless you only want to drift, if you want to run TC or similar things you will be better off getting something that is a hybrid, either buy a TC and add drift wheels and a locked rear diff for 50/50 drifting or by a 50/50 drifter and add road wheels to drive it like a TC.

Hope that helps you in making a choice on what to buy. Personally if you are looking for a hybrid, i would get a Sakura Zero S, and put a spool on the rear, that way you can drift and if you want to race TC you can put the spool on the front and the diff back on the rear and be rocking it both worlds.
