At the end of the training he went 0.6s faster by just starting from a lower motortiming.
It all comes down to try things out, even if it looks/sounds unnatural.
The position of the motor also benefits the traction of the car wich can also result in better laptimes.

today a followed your suggestion, i reduced the motor timing and i fitted a bigger pinion, so i raced with 3.9 of fdr, the car was the faster on the track.
The maximum temperature achived was 72°Celsius.
Everything worked weel and i took the final victory.
