Mine is backwards and I like it.
I've had good luck with it backwards as well. If u hold to steering racks together ( one forward and one back wards with the hinge mounting holes lined up perfectly) u can visibly see a difference. I tried it backwards and never put it back. I hate to admit this but I finally have my buggy handling similarly to my old rb5 with a +10 mm chassis. It's fast and forgiving. Little more initial and mid corner steering tho.
